Uganda Action Projects

Poverty is a very big issue in rural Uganda. It is unfortunately very common for parents to be unable to afford to pay the school fees for their children and are forced to send them to work to earn money for their families survival.

Family Matters

Our family matters project in Uganda focuses on Childcare and our Parental programme. Our directors and volunteers , who know the issues the children and family are dealing with out of first hand, and what it means not to have the opportunity of being able to go to school.

But since all our work is voluntary and all our money and time is for the benefit of our children, we are dependent on external supporters, without whom we would never reach our goals and visions.

As part of this project in order to get families off of the streets we have been funding for houses to be built out of containers so families have a place to stay as well as even building houses from scratch

Education

Poverty is a very big issue in rural Uganda. It is unfortunately very common for parents to be unable to afford to pay the school fees for their children and are leaving them to work to earn money for their families .

The education aspect of our Uganda Action project takes care of  the fact that all children have the right to education. We aim to help get children off the streets, brings those back to school who didn’t have the chance to finish and equip them with the material needed to do so.

We aim to build a community based around trust with the children of Uganda , and take the necessary time needed to understand their needs we constantly invite them and their families to accept our help as we wish to provide them with the support they need.

Farming

An essential part of the community is the farming. This is crucial for Ugandan villages and an activity that students do when they are not studying. Students can learn responsibility and they work hard to support the rest of the family through providing food for others.

Additionally the modern farming skills the community learn will also equip them for day to day life. Majority of food comes from our homegrown produce, and whatever we do not use is sold. Your generosity would make it possible for our farming to continue.
